The Dana-Thomas House is located in Springfield, Illinois. From Interstate 55, take the ClearLake Ave exit. Traveling west on Clearlake Ave, turn left (south) onto 9th Street. Take 9th Street to Cook Ave and turn right onto Cook. The parking lot for the Dana-Thomas House is just behind the YMCA building (which is on the corner of 4th and Cook Streets) and just past the railroad tracks on the left side of the street. Once parked, you'll need to walk to Lawrence Avenue (one block south) and to the courtyard gate of the House (signs will direct you).
